Don't wait for us to get shutdown again before doing it. Those that need to know you love them and are there for them are hungry for that reminder even when it may not seem like it. The first movie episode of March is 1983's Strange Brew! For a lot of the world, this was the introduction to the Mckenzie Brothers (Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis), but this launched Rick Moranis' featuyre film career. Add in veterans Paul Dooley and the legend Max van Sydow, and this nutty movie gains instant credibility. Enjoy! This week we have 1991's New Jack City from director Mario Van Peebles starring Wesley Snipes, Ice T, Chris Rock, Allen Payne, Vanessa Williams, and Judd Nelson. Not only did this movie do well at the box office, it helped elevate a musical and fashion culture to mainstream status. (Just take a look at last week's Super Bowl halftime for proof of this.) Welcome to just our THIRD guest episode, and it's just as different in format from the other two as the work of those three guests. Also, as we previously mentioned, it's a two parter! We have Cinematographer Eve M. Cohen with us! We both feel that Eve is a talent that you're going to enjoy as much as we do. Not just for her amazingly unique images, but her sense of humor and insight into the business. Her creative path that brought her to where she is now is equally unique as her visual style.
