An angry boyfriend has killed his girlfriend in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region barely 48 hours after a policewoman was found dead in a hotel room at Nkawkaw. The man who is 24 years old according to reports murdered his 35-year-old girlfriend after he found a s3x video of her and another man on her phone.

The Minority in Parliament have said they stand collectively united against government’s decision to tax electronic transactions. Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, who communicated his side’s position to government, said the e-levy proposal will further marginalize the poor, defeat financial inclusion.

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has called for the immediate termination of the appointment of the Western North Regional Minister, Mr Richard Ebbah Obeng. CLOGSAG is calling on the President to immediately terminate the Regional Minister’s appointment for interfering in the work of the Local Government Service.

Angry residents of Ndowukope, a farming community in the Akatsi North District of the Volta region together with their Assembly member, have burnt a shrine and other houses belonging to a fetish priest and his accomplices in the area for suspected ritual murder.

A 15-year-old Basic Education Certificate (BECE) candidate was embarrassed at Mankessim Methodist B Primary School centre after her invigilator prevented her from attending to nature’s call during the exam. According to Adom News’ Kofi Adjei, the victim and her colleagues were writing their last paper, ICT on Friday when this unusual incident happened. The victim eased on herself some minutes later after her numerous pleas to the invigilator fell on deaf ears, creating an unpleasant smell.
