15 persons have sustained varying degrees of injuries after a commercial vehicle loaded with passengers burst one of its tyres and crashed into a tree at the Gomoa Odumase in the Central Region. Eyewitnesses say, the speeding driver lost grip of the steering wheel and subsequently crashed the vehicle into a tree on the side of the highway.

Three students of the University of Education, Winneba have been arrested for causing mayhem in the school’s premises. The Police have arrested 16 persons in connection with a shooting incident at Asaman Tamfoe in the Eastern Region. The incident occurred between some persons believed to be illegal miners and a community anti-galamsey taskforce on September 29, 2022.

About seven children have been injured with another left unconscious after their school bus was involved in an accident at Adiembra at Asante Mampong. The accident reportedly occurred on Thursday while the pupils of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Model School were on their way from school.
