Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) will repeal the Electronic Transactions Act, describing it as a regressive tax, which imposed hardships on Ghanaians.

The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has downplayed the Economic Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) report suggesting that the party cannot win the 2024 general elections with former President John Dramani Mahama as its presidential candidate. The EIU projected that the NDC will win the 2024 polls but says it expects the biggest opposition party to revitalize its prospects with a fresh face on the ballot box rather than former President John Mahama.
