For so long I lived not listening to, or honouring the voice inside me. The voice that knows exactly where I need to go, what to do, what not to do and how to be me. These days, it’s legit my #1 BFF and has led me to create a world I once dreamed of. Do I have resistance to it? Yah! Is it easy to follow its guidance? Sometimes yes, sometimes naaaaat! In today's episode I share a great tool to use to invite your inner voice in more to and listen to it just as much as you do the resistant voice.

I’m undergoing some deep energetic shifts and my ego ain’t liking it one little bit. To be truthful, I’ve been experiencing a fair whack of anxiety and self doubt. There’s a call I’m answering to really serve how I choose to serve, to create my life and use time how I really want to and it’s causing me to look at what I’m doing, reassess it and make changes. My word INTENTIONAL for this year is really well lit.
This means I’ve been working my absolute ass off to get things ready for The Legends launch, and at the same time reevaluate and reflect on what and what isn't working. It was perfect timing when I looked over @taniayorgey instagram today to pick a card and it was The Tower. Time to let go, let whatever needs to crumble, crumble, to rebuild or leave space and not fill it.
So as I hear all the doubt and feel all the anxiety, I choose to focus on what I know I’m being called to step into. Even though it’s challenging, I know it’s right and my future self is guiding me.
NB: Please forgive the audio for this episode. I recorded it in the car via my phone with a small rhodes mic.

The Legends Group Coaching
I was that gal who morphed into what my partner did, ate, who be hung out with and how he lived. All my ways of being went “bye bye” because of a belief I held true that went something like this - “If you don’t do what they want to do, they’ll break up with you. You’ll appear difficult, you’ll be a drainer and that’s not how to keep a boyfriend. So just put your shit aside Ms John!”
That led me to planet LOST! and it took months (sometimes years) to retrieve my lost self and put it all back together again. Well fk that! I'd rather lose a relationship than lose myself again. However I do believe there is a sweet spot in the middle and that is that we can own who we are and share ourselves with another without getting lost.

Oh it's easy isn't it, getting caught up in other people's shit storms, or, being the creator of a shit storm and wanting people on your side. I used to contribute to other people's drama by getting emotionally invested and involved, which was a complete waste of time. I added no value or real support to the person, giving away my power and encouraging them (unknowingly) to give theirs away too.
These days, I have way better boundaries in place as a way to respect my energy and offer empowerment to the other person. If you create drama or get sucked into it, listen to this.

Cathryn Wills established Sans Beast in June 2017, after a career spanning close to
30 years in the Australian fashion industry.
The late 80’s saw time in retail at Benetton, followed by various roles at Palmer Corporation, before gaining a BA Fashion at Melbourne’s RMIT. A substantial chapter at Country Road then followed, where Wills worked in knitwear, eventually becoming Knitwear Design Manager across the men’s and women’s divisions.
Post leaving Country Road, Wills pursued a freelance design career for a number of
years, before finding her niche at Mimco, joining founder and former owner Amanda
Briskin (-Rettig) in 2004. Wills went on to the role of Creative Director post the sale
of the business, and in 2010, expanded her creative remit to encompass the
commercial leadership of the brand, as Managing + Creative Director.
After living and breathing the world of leather handbags + accessories for over a
decade, Wills adopted a vegetarian diet in mid 2015 - going vegan 18 months later -
and progressively recognized a disconnect between her professional role and her
ethical stance on animal welfare and the environment. Through further education,
Wills saw the need to change her consumptive and creative path, eventually
resigning from MIMCO in early 2016.
In establishing Sans Beast, Wills has dedicated herself to building a design led,
quality brand, with compelling visual + written storytelling. The brand sources
responsibly manufactured, non-leather materials for the collection + manufactures in
an ethically run, family owned factory in Southern China. Sans Beast is PETA
accredited vegan + donates to animal sanctuary, Edgars Mission with every
purchase made on the website.

If you spend money how you're currently spending your time, would you be broke? This is a question I've been challenging my coaching clients on recently when they tell me they haven't followed through on the work. If you're not using time to your advantage and following through on what truly matters to you, then it's no wonder you're tired, exhausted, pissed off or burnt out. Aka, you're energetically broke.
I've been using a new technique recently to use my time more wisely and intentionally (my word for this year is "intentional"). Have a listen to apply this technique so you're no longer "broke".

One area where you can build authenticity and the ace feelings it brings, is to match your actions to your words. You would've heard the phrase, "practice what you preach", and this is exactly what I'm talking about. Too many times you may say things about love and light, but act in ways that have zip-a-dee-doo-da with those words. You may preach about forgiveness but are being stubborn as all fk about a past situation. This is being out of alignment and chips away at being authentic.
Living true to your word (and you ain't going to get it perfect every time) is one way you can begin the journey towards being authentic, or sharpen yourself up if you're already on that journey.

Oki doki, you've set a word or theme for the new year and that's ace. But have you got a plan to integrate and embody that theme into areas of your life? If your word is LET GO - how will you be in the practice of letting go day to day, moment to moment and make the concept a reality?
Listen to today's episode for a coaching process I share to help you out.

Alrighty, it's the last episode of the year and jeepers creepers it's been a year that has tested all of us in different ways. There's been some epic lessons that have knocked on my door that I've chosen to learn from and continue to evolve this little human self of mine. I'm a firm believer of reflecting regularly and not waiting until the end of year to do a major reflect and possibly being overwhelmed with needing to make change, or being a bull at a gate and then losing momentum too quickly. Anyhoo, here's some of my lessons learned this year and how I got about reflecting as I go.
I just have to say a massive thank you to ALL OF YOU for listening to my podcast and being epic humans for choosing me to serve your souls. I am so appreciative of every single on of you.
I love this human so damn much! Nicole Hahn is a fellow lululemon ambassador which is where we met just over a year ago. Uber recently she was part of a lululemon shorts campaign which brought up a lot of my bullshit stories and shame around my legs. I have always told myself, "I'm not a shorts gal", when in truth, I was too afraid to wear them for the fear of being judged. Her voice and message around this inspired me and so many women to say FK YES to wearing shorts and not giving a fk anymore about how they look!
If you experience shame around your body and are in need of inspo and fresh perspective, listen up to this legend!
