A naughty robber stole a bell from the temple. Ding-a-ling! A tiger heard the bell and roared, 'Roar!' The robber fell down, and monkeys found the shiny bell. The monkeys went jingle-jangle, jingle-jangle in the trees!
Here are some ways to engage students using this story:
1. Ask children to make and imitate the sounds from the story like “Ding-a-ling,” “Roar,” and “Jingle-jangle.”
2. Let children act out the story as the robber, tiger, and monkeys using simple props.
3. Have children draw and color their favorite scene from the story.
