In Episode 842, we provide complete opinions, commentary and speculation based on the record evidence in the federal civil case of the Idaho4 Defamation case styled as Scofield v. Guillard, where the Plaintiff a University of Idaho professor brought 2 counts for defamation asserting she had been defamed by content published by the defendant alleging she was involved in the tragedies that occurred at 1122 King Road on November 13, 2025 and had had a romantic relationship with a student. 

Ms. Guillard, Defendant Pro Se, has not filed anything in the case since September 23, 2023 per the court docket. Many pre-trial deadlines have come and gone requiring the filing of such papers as trial witness lists, trial exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury instructions and more and now a response due October 30, 2025 to a Motion for Protective Order filed by Plaintiff back on October 9, 2025 has not been responded to by the defense.

Guillard, where the Plaintiff a University of Idaho professor brought 2 counts for defamation asserting she had been defamed by content published by the defendant alleging she was involved in the tragedies that occurred at 1122 King Road on November 13, 2025 and had had a romantic relationship with a student.

The defendant Ms. Guillard, Defendant Pro Se, has not filed anything in the case since September 23, 2023 per the court docket. Many pre-trial deadlines have come and gone requiring the filing of such papers as trial witness lists, trial exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury instructions and more. The rhetorical question is pondered based on pure speculation of whether the February jury trial will be one with an "empty chair" at defense table.
