Something we don’t often do today is forgo something, ie food or some other activity, to spend quality time communing with God.

In Acts 6 we read of the Seven who were set aside to see to the needs of the widows and poor. Prayer was instrumental in their ministry.

When you step out of your comfort zone, ask God in prayer, for His guidence.

Prayer. It is an essential part of being a follower of Jesus. In Acts 1, verse 14, it says “They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.”

Mission and Vision. Two words that are meant to be significant to the church, but is there any evidence that anything has happened as a result of them? Modern history says yes.

The Bible contains around 2,000 verses relating to money, so it must be a fairly impacting part of our lives that needed to addressed. So what does the bible say about money, wealth, prosperity and the like?
