On Sunday 7 September 2014, Kilkenny and Tipperary played out one of the most thrilling All-Ireland finals in modern times, the game concluding 3-22 to 1-28, setting up a return date on Saturday 27 September.
Kilkenny made sure of the victory at the second attempt, dispatching Tipperary by three points to win 2-17 to 2-14 and secure their 35th All-Ireland final win.

Kilkenny v Dublin in the National Camogie League Division 1 took place in John Locke Park, Callan.
Kilkenny hoped that they could start the league better than last year. It will be a difficult task with seven players either retired or have stepped away from the panel for 2021 Anne Dalton, Michelle Quilty, Anna Farrell, Catherine Foley, Noreen O’Keeffe, Lucinda Gahan and Edel Coonan.
Kilkenny last won the league in 2018 and the last meeting of the two sides was back in 2019 when Kilkenny ran away with the game.
