It was a weekend full of wins for Minnesota sports! The Timberwolves snapped their four-game losing streak (without KAT and D-Lo) in a 120-110 win over New Orleans, the Wild split their weekend series with the San Jose Sharks, the Gopher Men's Hockey team scored 20 goals in two games against Arizona State, and the Green Bay Packers lost the NFC Championship game for the fourth time in seven years.
Zeke also talks about the PJ Fleck rumors swirling around the state that he may leave the U for Tennessee and the SEC, and why one of his top recruits de-committing over the weekend doesn't help the situation. (It REALLY won't help if Avante Dickerson signs with Tennessee on February 3rd...)
In the second half of the Wrap, Kevin Falness of the Minnesota Wild Radio Network joins Zeke to talk Wild hockey, his take on the first six games of the season, the goaltender situation and how long Cam Talbot could be out, the impact if the Ian Cole trade, and looking ahead to a tough stretch of the schedule: four straight games against Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche.
