Isn’t it funny how we think that love has to hurt in order for the commitment to be real? There will be tough times, but let’s be honest; any form of abuse or infidelity is not considered “up’s and downs”. A lot of it is manipulation, us accepting the bare minimum, not knowing our worth, having low self-esteem, and feeling that we must be in a relationship. At no point in your relationship should you accept any mistreatment simply for the sake of you being able to say you have a significant other!
Because you’ve forgiven someone doesn’t mean you must allow them in your life. However; you should love and give grace like the Bible says. But you must understand that some people are truly toxic, so you’ll find that in order for you to heal, they might not need access to you! As I’ve stated in a previous episode, sometimes it’s best to heal out of or away from the environment that hurt you!
Do you find it interesting how many people require things from others that they don’t have or possess themselves? No, just me? Well if you feel anything like me, I’d say that it’s very common, but insane to expect what you can’t provide. Some women have unrealistic “requirements”, while some men want a traditional woman when they are, in fact, not a traditional man.
Is it possible to heal from the same place that hurt you? Sometimes you may have to “move”, and not necessarily physically. However; in order to promote and encourage healing, you must create a safe space for yourself to begin the healing process.
During this live video, a listener said “it’s hard to let go when you’re comfortable.” Stick around to the end to see how I addressed this comment!
Your relationship/marriage can be private without being a secret. Know what to share and what to keep to yourself, or simply between you and your partner. What outsiders don’t know, they can’t speak on and attempt to destroy! Let’s talk about it!

On this episode I’ll speak on ways we can find happiness and keep it! Always remember that a positive mindset works wonders! Happiness depends on what’s happening, but when you find joy, the happiness is inevitable and will always reside within you!
As a fan’s suggestion, I’ll be speaking on why men cheat and why it’s expected to be accepted. The double standard is when women do the same, the act is seen as pure disgust and disgrace. So, can men take what they dish? Can they handle a dose of their own medicine? Tune in and let’s chat!
Sis, you’re not dumb, nor are you stupid! On this episode I simply want you to ask yourself do you think you deserve better. I want you to work on your self-worth and KNOW that you deserve the best! Understand that the best won’t come while we accept the bare minimum. Also, the best won’t come while we stay with the one who keeps hurting us. Tune in and catch this lesson, sisters!

Closing out season four is another great topic: FORGIVENESS. If you've been hurt, yes, you should forgive. Remember that the forgiveness is for you. Forgiving only helps your healing process. You want to be at a place where you can move on happily, with no ill feelings, while genuinely being able to wish whoever hurt you well. Healing and forgiveness starts with you!

Here on this matter, I can relate. It’s very true what you hear: strangers do support more than family and friends. There are many reasons why you may never gain support and respect from those closest to you. That is NOT your concern! Don’t let it bother you! You just need to keep going! Only God can determine your success!
