Jamie Vaughn is a retired school teacher, bonus mom of 3 adult children, wife to her amazing husband, Farrell, dog-mom, and “Glamma” to 2 granddaughters. Jamie is a recent breast cancer survivor, who is a fierce advocate for other breast cancer patients and survivors. Her journey has been an emotional struggle and still is, at times, in her survivorship, yet she does recognize all of the silver linings as well. Aside from her mother’s death only 4 years ago, which was downright gut-wrenching, breast cancer has been a whole new level of trauma.  Jamie has shared her story through social media, podcasts, and news programs. She holds a lot of space for others too. She has her own podcast called “Test Those Breasts!” where she holds important conversations with patients, survivors, caregivers, multiple types of therapists, and a myriad of medical providers, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and nurses, in order to provide much-needed support. On her podcast, she and guests discuss ALL things breast cancer, including the emotional toll, advocacy, treatment/surgical options, caregiving, and more. She started her podcast as a healing mechanism AND to help shorten the learning curve for the newly diagnosed, survivors, caregivers, and anyone else who is touched by breast cancer.

Angela is an international bestselling author with ten published books.

Angela is a conscious parenting consultant who shared the stage with Les Brown, Dr. John DeMartini, Bernardo Moya, Michael Beckwith, Joe Vitale, Alison Larsen, Moe Rock, David Fagan, and many others. Angela has done everything from speaking to high school students about emotional intelligence to cohosting a television show on Thriving Women Network. Author, Regina LaFrance has come a long way since her native small village. A place she called home until tragedy struck. Drawing from her direct experience, her semi-autographical novel, Shayla, is a depiction of the events that happened when she was violently raped as a young girl by a pedophile priest in her community. Her tell-all book further speaks to the deep-seeded wounds and trauma that have followed into her adult life as striving to reinvent herself and find healing.

Shayla is LaFrance’s sharing, and ultimate hope, for others who have been molested and suffered from abuse. Passionate in the resolve of this issue, LaFrance has made it her ongoing effort to prevent the unthinkable from happening to more innocent children.

She resides in North Carolina with her husband, Dan, a retired fire lieutenant. Both are transplants from Boston where they met.

More personal story:

My dad is an exoneree and was proven innocent in 2001 after serving 10 years in prison. Now he serves on the innocence project board & helps people who have been wrongfully convicted! Fun fact!

I grew up in a restrictive environment, a cult. Once out, I took every opportunity to explore, learn and expand my knowledge base. From working as an LP detective for Macy's Corp, field organizer for campaigns, ballroom dance instructor, to Head of Security at Alan Jackson's bar, I've done alot. What I couldn't forsee, it that the cult experience would come back to haunt me, when adversaries use my background against me. I would go on to defeat A Cornell University educated lawyer, in the TN Supreme Court.
