Rick and Jane McKinney have lived an extraordinary life of ministry. Once described as “mavericks,” they have literally stepped out into the unknown to embrace God’s call and have experienced His presence in a way that only comes through a life of obedience. Whether planting and pastoring churches, traveling the world to perform concerts, building a house in Mexico, traveling from village to village in India, or walking across America, they have followed His voice as He led them forward, one step at a time.

How would you respond if asked to do something you knew was impossible? Something so difficult, so crazy, so beyond your ability that it didn’t even make sense. You’d dismiss it, forget about it and act like you were never asked, right? But what if it were God asking? What if you were absolutely sure that you had just heard God speak?

This is that story. The story of two very unlikely people who were asked by God to walk across America. They were to walk from one side of the country to the other, in every conceivable kind of weather, facing what seemed like insurmountable odds, taking every step together and accomplish it in just six months.

Jim Ervin is host of the hot new podcast, 'Time Signatures with Jim Ervin'. The podcast is all about the Blues music genre and features captivating interviews with some of today's (and yesterday's) most recognized Blues musicians in the world. 

Erv got his start in professional broadcasting in 1980 and he spent many years traveling up and down the AM and FM dials as an on-air host, DJ, air personality...whatever you want to call him. He left broadcasting for other pursuits in 1995, but the passion never left him. 

He is now enjoying a great run with Time Signatures, as he fulfills a lifelong mission to preserve stories, in this case, stories related to the history of the Blues.

Richmond Punch is a violin virtuoso who delivers a riveting, dynamic, explosive, and powerful performance!   A native of Dallas, Texas, Richmond graduated from the top-rated Arts Magnet Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.  He honed his craft and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the famous Juilliard School of Music in New York and received a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Yale University.  He specializes in live violin music for all types of special events including corporate, concerts, festivals, weddings and worship. As an accomplished musician, Richmond has produced 4 CDs in various genres that include Jazz, Hip Hop Jazz and Gospel.  The titles of his four CDs, which are available online everywhere are “Finally”, ‘Back That Violin Up”, “Gospel Covers” and “Hymns for Botham"
