Hoooooo boy...time to strap in for this doozy of a brand new KOGpod with Tommy Castor, Blake Cripps and Weston Mills!
(03:20) The last several days have been a dumpster fire of a debacle for the University of Kansas Athletics, specifically the football program. Both Les Miles and Jeff Long have left the university. It's tough to do, but the guys spend a long time discussing what went wrong at KU and what needs to happen in the future to attempt to turn things around. Also, who could be in the mix for the new AD and head coach positions for the Jayhawks?
(51:51) State basketball is here for the state of Kansas. The guys break down some notable first round matchups for Wichita area teams for both boys and girls, plus preview some of the big semifinal matchups.
(1:04:46) College conference tournament time is underway! The Shockers enter the American Conference Tournament as the #1 seed, so what should fans be looking for with WSU moving forward in the tourney? Plus, the Kansas State Wildcats upset TCU in the opening round of the Big XII tournament. The Jayhawks are the #2 seed and will play Oklahoma in the opening round on Thursday evening, but they are without David McCormack. What are the chances that KU will make it to the Big XII championship game?
(1:45:46) It's our #WichitaWhiparound and this week we discuss big topics like prep bowling, hats off to the team at Hartman Arena for hosting multiple sporting events safely over the last month, and a welcome to a new head basketball coach at Friends University!
