I. Key one “I must know it is God will for my life”
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
I Corinthians 13:13: And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Faith vs. Hope
Webster:
1. Hope: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Hope is when I would like God to do something but I don’t know if it is his will for my life
Ill: hope that God calls me to Florida to minister
2. Faith: complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
Faith is when we believe in something we KNOW is the will of God
Ill: God may show me He wants me to minister in Florida some day
Teaching how to go from just reading the word but experiencing the word.
Repeat the word over again and faith will come:
Women who touch the hem of his garment said “When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Mark 5:27-28
II Corth 3:17: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
John 8:36: Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
Gal 5:13: You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Gal 5:1: It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Eph 3:12: In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Romans 6:22: But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
