Today our destination is Craig Montana and the legendary Missouri River.  Our guest is expert guide and 5-time Spey-O-Rama casting champion, Whitney Gould, with Headhunters Fly Shop.  The Missouri River is a nutrient-rich tailwater famous for large fish, prolific hatches, and some of the best dry fly fishing in the State of Montana where anglers come from the world over to sting trophy rainbows and browns on this gold medal stream. 

Whitney holds the women’s Spey-O-Rama record two-handed cast at 150’.  She’s on Team USA competing and spey casting around the world.  She spends her summers as a guide on the Mighty Mo and winters chasing steelhead on the California coast.  Whitney gives a great overview of the famous quality water below Holter dam, shares some very funny stories, and what you need to know to take on this magical river with confidence.
