I interviewed one of New York City’s first responders. Her name is Sarai Bismuth and she’s a paramedic. Despite the EMS being an often sidelined entity in the emergency hierarchy, Sarai shares the pride she has in her work and what life looked like before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. We talk about the impact of the amount of death she’s exposed to and whether or not she’s happy with her career choice, given all of the chaos - this is her 3rd career by the way, she used to be a body piercer for over 10 years, both Israeli and a proud New Yorker.

In a world of "health" influencers, skinny-tea, and booty bands, there is Erin Murray. She is calm, relatable, and extremely knowledgable about the body and how we can recondition our brains to live a life where we truly thrive. Erin and I chatted about how she came to do this work, why right now is a test for so many of us when it comes to our self-soothing, and coping mechanisms, and of course, tips for how we can feel our best. Spoiler alert: it's not dieting.
Vaneeta is one of those people who is infectiously joyful. You can't not smile when you're around her. Outside of being a good human, she's a psychologist, professor, and consultant. She shares what keeps her joyful.
I got to sit down with serial entrepreneur, Ashley Alberts (Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, The Matzoh Project, Voice Actor on Daria and much more), in this episode of Keeping Score. What's her motivation?
Keeping Score explores what it takes to live an engaged life. Engagement is not about the destination. It's all about the journey. Massella Dukuly invites people from all walks of life to have a deep and vulnerable conversation about how they are navigating the highs and lows of their lives. She asks her guests to answer The Score Question: "Scale of 1-10, how much would you recommend your life to another person?"
