Keeping The Towel

It's a new year. We have our days, our weeks, most of us have the entire year and all of our plans put in place; but then, something unexpected throws your plans out of whack.  How do we iron this out?

A small curiosity turned into a quick fix which spiraled into a dark hole of addiction of sex and porn.  The addiction got so out of control, he lost his job, his marriage and family slipped out of his fingers. It led him to being kicked out of his home to sleeping in a sleeping bag in a cold shed. Cam puts on the gloves and steps in the ring.

Growing up in the Boogie-Down Bronx, he survived the crack era. Moved to Puerta Rico, a whole different life to adjust to.  From enduring brutal abuse on a naval ship due to discrimination; he continued to live a maverick life.  When he finally broke down in front of his son, he had to now accept responsibility.

He was in immense pain that he could barely move. He went to two doctors and he got two different answers, but both agreed that his cancer, was inoperable. A  routine task with his wife turned into him being something that he never was in his life, vulnerable.

There was bad blood between two families, but when he was born, his existence added more fuel to the animosity. He watched someone he loved help everyone else with their problems but forsaken the harm that they slowly inflicted on themselves and he watched as the writings were being written on the wall, each letter after another. Mike Robinson (aka Boogie Mak) steps in the ring.  The Boogie's spar, Boogie-Mak vs. Ant-Boogie.

What was supposed to be you scrolling and looking for 5 mins, has now become 30, 45 mins, 1 - 2hrs of looking, scrolling, liking and commenting.

What started with you seeking to get a task accomplished, you're practicing to be part of an inane challenge.

What started with you being more financially sound, you brought more stuff which did nothing for you.

What became your purpose, you're now concerned with who and how many like your pic/video.

You're on top of the world, then you're in a rut. Your distractions have become your safe haven now.

He was but a few months away from graduating, but then, he got a phone call that would not only test his mettle, but also his faith along with the strength of the family unit. Lacking in funds, he could get a job or join a scamming ring, but even that has consequences. The sibling bond will either wilt under pressure or become strong, find out when Femi Makx steps in the ring.

You have a vision in your head and you want it to manifest, write it down.  There's something's that has to happen and some unexpected things that will happen.  But will you fight to bring it to life, make it 3D, something that you can hold in your hand?

As the legendary artist penned; Everybody loves the sunshine. However, there's also the rain. The rain will do and mean something different to each of us. But we keep running from the rain, sometimes you might just have to stay in the rain. Shoutout to New Edition.
