Keeping Up with Mrs. Kelly

John Tessitore, founder of the JCK Foundation, has a lot of reasons to lose hope after losing his best friend to suicide and being diagnosed with OCD himself. However, John uses this as a basis for his work with youth around the U.S. and Sweden and with our podcast guests, spreading kindness, love and hope.

A teacher who had no intention of moving to Sweden, much less staying here for years and becoming a school leader, shares her journey through huge life challenges and describes the power of vulnerability and openness in navigating these difficult situations.

A former student who came to IES Länna labelled as "difficult" and "problematic" shares his journey from struggling student to successful young adult, and why he's so driven to use his time and skill-set to help at-risk students find their own path to success and self-love.

In the final episode of the season, two recent IES Länna graduates join Mrs. Kelly to talk about how IES Länna is not a "normal" school, and why it will always be special to them.
