Let go of the busyness and multi-tasking in your life. Take time to stop and appreciate your life today, as it is, without all the distractions. We live in a society where being ‘busy’ is viewed as being ‘successful’.
I’ve learned over my years in business and my life, just how to stop and appreciate moments. I practice mindfulness and I teach it to my clients. Even as a busy coach and therapist – I value the personal time I share with my clients, and don’t try to multi-task or feel pressured in any way when I’m working with them. I have learned to let go of being busy all the time.
Buddist teacher, Ajahn Chah wrote this about being mindful, “Just go into the room, sit in the center of the room, open the doors and windows, and see who comes to visit. You will witness all kinds of scenes and actors, all kinds of temptations and stories, everything imaginable. Your only job is to stay in your seat. You will see it all arise and pass, and out of this, wisdom and understanding will come.”
You can do this anywhere, at any time. It is a wonder what wisdom and understanding will come from letting go of being busy.
