In addition, Kent is the author of "The Artist's Suitcase: 26 Essentials for the Creative Journey" and host of the "Smart Business Writing" podcast.

Kent is also the Professor of Communication Arts at St. Louis Christian College in Florissant, Missouri. He specializes in courses on film, storytelling, communication, arts, and writing. He lives in St. Peters, Missouri with his wife, Melanie, and son, Ben.
