Causeway local Martina Flynn spoke to Jerry about the changes to speed limits in the locality. Many in the area are frustrated and confused by the changes. These include the reduction of the limit on the main Causeway to Ardfert road, which has dropped to 60km/h. Locals say this road is not a bothereen and should be treated as a main road.

Former All Ireland winning footballer Johnny Culloty, has passed away aged 88. The Killarney Legion man captained the Kingdom to Sam Maguire in 1969, and won a total of 5 Celtic Crosses. He won his first All-Ireland in 1955 as a corner forward and the rest as Kerry goalie. Johnny Culloty was also a dual county player winning an All-Ireland junior hurling title in 1961.
