It’s hoped that an internationally-renowned cycle race in Kerry this weekend could pave the way for the county to host a stage of the Tour de France. This week the Government’s report into historical sexual abuse at schools run by religious orders documented 2,400 allegations made against 884 teachers, priests and other individuals. The state’s active travel strategy is designed to encourage us to cycle and walk more, avail of public transport, and reduce our reliance on cars.
