Forbairt na Dromoda Teo is a community, social enterprise based in the South-West Kerry Iveragh Gaeltacht charged with community development, the promotion and upkeep of the Irish language and the provision of necessary social services. The Inny Tavern Bar and Foodstore is for sale and the directors and management at Forbairt na Dromoda have decided to examine the possibility of purchasing one of Ireland’s few community owned pubs/shop. They have raised enough for a deposit to purchase the business and they have also sourced a bank loan to add to this, but have set up a GoFundMe to raise the €100,000.
