In this edition of The TREC Podcast, David Evemy of Sarofim Realty Advisors talks to Kevin Shtofman of Deloitte Consulting LLP about the impact blockchain and cryptocurrency can make on the commercial real estate industry.

Kevin, a manager with Deloitte’s real estate practice, has more than 14 years of experience providing clients with strategic, financial, accounting, business improvement and technology services. He is highly experienced in providing operational and systems integration services to owners, operators, developers, and construction servicers of real estate and is considered a recognized leader in providing strategic planning, business process improvement, systems integration, solution implementation, merger integration, asset management, and program/project management services.

David, TREC’s 2017 educational programs chair, is SVP of Strategic Planning and Research for Sarofim. He leads the research group in the review and analysis of economic trends impacting real estate. David and his team are responsible for investment strategy design and implementation as well as market conditions analysis affecting new and existing property assets. David joined Sarofim in 2000 and is a member of the company’s Investment Committee.
