If you’re a fan of train based murder mysteries, then you should probably watch the movie before you listen to this episode, because it’s kind of like a higher stakes version of that. But honestly, I didn’t watch the movie before listening to the episode- and I enjoyed it immensely nonetheless. My alternate title for this episode: “Loop Dreams.”

Episode Four: Palm Springs

Welcome back to Keystone Copycats With Chris and Zach. If this is your first time listening to this podcast, then you chose a great episode to start with because this is easily the best movie inspired by “Groundhog Day”. If you’ve tuned into every episode so far, then pat yourself on the back for treating yourself to such a fun little podcast. In any case, you’re in good hands. On this episode, Chris and Zach review the 2020 comedy film Palm Springs starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti. Using the tropes established in episode one of this season, Chris and Zach will decide in this episode what percentage “Groundhog Day” this film is. And guess what- Chris actually liked the movie this time! That’s 1 for 4 this season so far! Zach liked it too, but I think Zach is basically at 4 for 4 in those terms, so that’s not special. Episode 3.5: Two Distant Strangers

Episode Three: Happy Death Day

Welcome back to Keystone Copycats With Chris and Zach. If this is your first time listening to this podcast, then hopefully you’ve at least seen the film Groundhog Day before so you can kind of catch on to what’s going on in this episode. In any case, you’re in good hands. On this episode, Chris and Zach review the 2017 black comedy slasher “Happy Death Day” starring Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard. Chris is now at 0 for 3 when it comes to enjoying any of the movies the pair have chosen to watch for season one.
