Genesis 10–11 shows us something surprising—after the flood, humanity doesn’t slowly drift back into sin… it runs right back to it. At the Tower of Babel, people unite with one goal: to make a name for themselves. What began in Genesis 3 has now scaled up—sin is no longer just individual, it’s cultural, organized, and celebrated. Babel isn’t just about a tower; it’s about building a life apart from God and trying to reach heaven on our own terms.

But that’s not the whole story. Running alongside humanity’s pride and rebellion is something far greater: the unbreakable promise of God. Through the nations listed in Genesis 10 and the genealogy in Genesis 11, Scripture narrows our focus to one specific line—the line that leads to Abram, and ultimately to Jesus. While sin progresses, God’s promise moves forward, steady and unstoppable.

This message is an invitation to shift your focus. You don’t need to build your way up or prove your worth. The gospel reminds us that we don’t make a name for ourselves—we receive one through Jesus. Babel shows us we needed a Rescuer, not a staircase—and in His goodness, God has provided exactly that.

In this message, “The Failed Reboot,” we walk through Genesis 6–9 and revisit the familiar story of Noah’s Ark—but through a deeper and more sobering lens. What’s often reduced to a children’s story is actually a powerful picture of God’s grief over sin, His justice in judgment, and His mercy in rescue. Yet even in the flood, grace is present—Noah is saved by faith, not perfection, revealing God’s consistent pattern of grace leading to faith and obedience. But the story doesn’t end with a fresh start—it reveals a deeper truth. The flood resets the world, but it doesn’t fix the human heart. The “reboot” ultimately fails because the root problem remains. Through His covenant and the sign of the rainbow, God points forward to a greater rescue plan—one that doesn’t just cleanse the outside, but transforms from within. This message challenges us to see that our greatest need isn’t a new environment, but a new heart, and that true salvation is found in Jesus alone.

This Easter message centers on one powerful question: are you lost—and do you even know it? Through a personal story and the parables in Luke 15, we’re reminded that what some see as “just people,” Jesus sees as the lost—and He goes looking for them. Whether you’ve been far from God or sitting in church for years, the reality is the same: being close to Jesus doesn’t automatically mean you’ve been found. Just like the disciples after the cross, it’s possible to feel steady on the outside while being completely lost on the inside.

But Easter changes everything. In John 20, we see that it wasn’t the teachings or miracles that finally convinced the disciples—it was the empty tomb. Jesus is alive, and that truth forces a decision: believe or walk away. This message is an invitation to stop, take an honest look at your life, and recognize what might be missing. The good news of Easter is that God is still seeking the lost, offering forgiveness, new life, and a restored relationship with Him—not as something to earn, but as a gift to receive. Today can be the day you go from lost to found.

In this message from Genesis 4, “What’s Behind Your Door?”, we explore the story of Cain and Abel and the deeper issue beneath Cain’s rejected offering—not what he brought, but the condition of his heart. God’s warning that “sin is crouching at the door” invites us to examine what’s hiding in our own hearts—whether it’s anger, pride, jealousy, or complacency—and how unaddressed sin can hinder true, sacrificial worship. This sermon challenges us to move beyond surface-level faith and ask: are we offering God our whole selves, or just going through the motions? Ultimately, we’re reminded that while our offerings will never be enough on their own, God’s mercy meets us in our brokenness—calling us to repentance, inviting us into relationship, and pointing us to Jesus, the perfect Lamb, who makes a way for us to live in freedom and worship God as He is truly worthy.

In week three of our God Is Good series, we finally arrive at the question that brings the creation story home to us: What kind of people was this world made for? Looking at Genesis 1:26–2:25, we see that humanity was created in God’s image to live in His presence. From the beginning, our purpose was never self-definition or striving for meaning on our own—it was to hear God, trust His goodness, and obey His word. In the garden, we discover that worship and obedience were always meant to go together.

This message explores what it means to be image-bearers of God, why identity is grounded in creation, and how our purpose flows from God’s presence rather than our performance. From Adam and Eve’s partnership to the call placed on every human life, Scripture reveals that we were made to reflect God’s character and rule in the world He prepared. Our calling remains the same today: hear God, believe God, and obey God.

Last week we asked, How did I get here? Genesis gives a simple but profound answer: God. This week, we dive deeper into the first chapter, seeing how God takes a formless, empty world and orders it with intention, creating spaces for life, rhythm, and relationship. From light to land, seas, and sky, everything is spoken into existence with purpose and care.

As creation unfolds, we see that life is not random—it is invited and sustained by God’s provision. Boundaries, identity, and blessing are part of the order He brings, pointing to a God who prepares a home for us and gives meaning to all things. Join us as we explore how the goodness of God shapes the world and our lives.

In this opening message of the GOD IS GOOD series, we begin where the Bible begins—“In the beginning, God.” Genesis doesn’t argue for God’s existence; it simply declares Him as the starting point of everything. Before light, time, or creation itself, God was already there—creating, speaking, and giving meaning to all that exists. If life is going to make sense, it has to begin with Him.

Genesis 1:1–2 reveals a God who creates not out of need, but out of the overflow of His love. In Week 4 of our READY series, we land in 2 Timothy 4:1-8 with a simple but weighty call: Be Ready. Paul’s words aren’t casual encouragement—they’re a charge to live a life measured not by success, comfort, or recognition, but by faithfulness. The Christian life is about staying anchored in God’s Word, proclaiming truth, and remaining steady in every season, whether it’s convenient or costly.
Paul models what it looks like to finish well: preaching the Word, correcting with love, encouraging with courage, and enduring when truth is unpopular. In a world full of noise, opinions, and algorithms shaping what we hear, believers are called to resist drifting and instead live sober-minded, faithful lives that hold fast to what is true.
The question that frames this message is personal and urgent: If Jesus asked you to give an account of your faithfulness today, would you be ready?

In Week 3 of our READY series, we look at Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 3:1–17 and discover that being “ready for the times we’re in” isn’t about fear—it’s about formation. The challenges of our culture, the pressures we feel, and the drift we see aren’t new or unexpected. As theologian D. A. Carson explains, the “last days” began with Christ’s first coming and continue until His return—meaning believers in every generation are called to live faithfully in the middle of difficult times.

Paul’s answer isn’t escape, outrage, or withdrawal. It’s anchoring our lives in the truth of Scripture and walking it out with Christlike character. God doesn’t remove the storm; He steadies His people within it. When we remain grounded in His Word, we are equipped to live with clarity, endurance, and faithfulness—no matter the times we find ourselves in.
