    Wyoming Untrapped holds workshops in Jackson Hole to help pet-owners understand how animal traps work and how to safely remove them. The laws in Wyoming deem it illegal to tamper with traps, including releasing your pet from a trap. We talked with April North about the day two of her dogs were caught in traps and Kristin Combs about changes she wants in legislation.
    There is a "Pet Safety Trap Release" workshop on September 13th, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse.

    The Jackson Hole Yoga Community is hosting a donation-based outdoor yoga class and event on September 11, 2016 at Miller Park in a collaborative effort to celebrate National Yoga Month September. The benefit, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., is open to all levels and will feature teachers from valley studios co-teaching a class. We spoke with Adi Amar from the Teton Yoga Shala about the collective nature of the JH yoga community, why yoga has gained popularity, and her own background in the practice.

  • KHOL - Artist Kathryn Mapes Turner on "What the Sky Holds"
    Kathryn Mapes Turner grew up on the Triangle X Ranch in Grand Teton National Park, where she's interacted with the landscape through her art for as long as she can remember. Now she co-owns and operates Trio Fine Art Gallery as she continues to create. The Center Theater Gallery will display a collection of her paintings titled "What the Sky Holds" through late September.
    There is an opening reception on Friday, September 9th as part of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival's Palates and Palettes Gallery Walk from 5-6:30pm.
