GUYS, WE'RE SO MAD TODAY. This week we're covering August Osage County (2013), in which Meryl Streep is tortures everyone in her family and Julia Roberts comes unhinged like a barn door in a tornado. Ross breaks down the depravity of the Weston family, Carie screams over the various literal crimes that are happening, and the siblings recieve an education on the tragically not-well-known story of Misty Upham.

This week the siblings explore the togetherness of failing as a family with one of the greatest Sundance Film Festival winners of all time/Breaking Bad Preunion, Little Miss Sunshine (2006). Ross expresses BIG TIME distaste for some of the movie's main characters, Carie waxes nostalgic about how she related to little Olive, and the siblings are reminded of the grace that can come from failure.

This week, the siblings strap in for family spy fun in breaking down one of Ross' all time faves, Spy Kids (2001). Carie goes nuts over all the kid-themed spy-tech, Ross swoons over Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino, and Carie and Ross reminesce about how they teased each other as children.

This week the siblings break down a cringing oldie, The Reaping (2006), a movie about Hilary Swank and Idris Elba attempting to find scientific explanation for why Biblical plagues have descended on a small, religious Louisiana town. Of course the producers are anxious to get HIlary Swank in the tub, Ross is anxious to see Idris Elba without his shirt, and the siblings are fascinated by the scientific theories for the Exodus plagues put forth by the film.
