This week, the siblings unpack the TURBULENT rollercoaster of The Favourite (2017). Ross applauds Olivia Coleman's stunning performance as Queen Anne of the House of Stewart, which won her the Academy Award for Best Actress. Carie can't stand her conniving, abusive lover, portrayed by Rachel Weisz. Emma Stone's accent is fine, but her character is unforgivable in this story of queer relationships run amok in 18th century England.

TAP YOUR HEELS TOGETHER THREE TIMES, ladies and theydies. Today the siblings are unpacking a beloved childhood favorite, Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland. Ross gives us some detailed backstory on the story's populist allegory, and the origin stories of the gay pride rainbow flag. Carie gets weepy over Judy Garland's earnest performance, and the siblings highlight the story's timeless message of self-worth and endless pursuit of getting over the rainbow.

Sorry in advance for the movie audio folx! This movie is mixed very poorly. The siblings are at their peak this week when they dissect a long-time childhood favorite, Sailor Moon R: The Promise of the Rose (1993). Carie is in rare form today, discussing the anime genre that gives her life, the magical girl genre. Ross is full of questions about the impossibly complex Sailor Moon universe, as well as speculation over whether Sailor Venus is an ideal captain for the Sailor Senshi. Carie attains her final form near the end, and the siblings hash out the difficulty of recapturing a childhood favorite.

To end our month on fool-ass films, the siblings take on the feature length innuendo known as The 40-Year-Old Virgin. The sibling break down the early oughts comedy vehicle that launched so many careers and the formation of the Judd Apatow mafia. Ross gets sick of the supporting cast real fast, and Carie recalls juvenile feelings of acceptance from an otherwise often discordant comedy.

On this week’s episode, Gavin once again guest-hosts for a sports movie unlike any other, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Gavin gets fired up about the overdone male energy in the movie, and Carie struggles with having to look at Ben Stiller’s handlebar mustache for 90 minutes.

This week we have a special guest host, Carie's better half, Gavin Pehler (@Big_G_Man1). While Ross is out sick, Gavin steps in to dissect a needlessly stressful movie about a group of men who lose big time in Las Vegas. Carie can't handle the toxic male energy, Gavin howls at the abusurd antics of the Wolfpack, and the pair are not too impressed with how an early phenomenon aged poorly.

This week, the siblings break down the new-age American dream--killing your abusive boss. Horrible Bosses is a film about three friends who fumble at the opportunity to eliminate their three problematic bosses from their lives. The siblings cringe at some of the movie's worst-aged moments, bust a gut over Charlie Day, and resent the presence of one "Kebin Spaceface."
