Teaching work in the home through chores is good for children. While it may actually be less efficient and create more work for parents in the short-term, in the long-term it helps children develop the ability to work and take care of themselves, their homes and those around them when they're grown. In this episode we'll discuss some of the practical how-to's of involving you kids in your work, assigning them chores and encouraging them to work hard while not expecting too much of them. We also address the question of whether to pay your children for doing their chores or not.
