Kennedy Center for International Studies at Brigham Young University, and as an associate international vice president.  Her research focuses on the well-being of women and children in Latin America, Africa, and the U.S. How do you divide up the chores at your house? Household chores have traditionally been a woman’s responsibility, even though today more women are in the workforce than ever. A study conducted recently shows that women spend about 14 hours per week doing housework, compared with men who only spend about 9 hours per week.
