The countdown is on to one of Clare's biggest summer events, as the Kildysart Agricultural Show returns on Sunday, August 2nd, for its 82nd year.  

With everything from livestock and equestrian competitions to arts, crafts, baking and family entertainment, the show continues to attract exhibitors and visitors from across the region.  

There are also exciting competitions this year, including the Young Stockperson of the Year and the new Breeder's Choice breeding heifer class.  

To tell us more, Alan Morrissey was joined by show committee members with show connections from 1942, Fiona Hardy and Eoin O'Connell.
