A local campaign is underway to bring Linnane’s Pub in Kilfenora back into community hands.
Linnane’s, once a cornerstone of the village — known for its traditional music sessions and warm community spirit — has been closed for some time, like many rural pubs across Ireland.
Now, a group of local musicians, neighbours and volunteers are working together to raise €500,000 to purchase and renovate the building, with plans to reopen it as a community-owned, not-for-profit cultural hub.
Launch night is this Friday, 4th July.
