Julie has been mourning her mom, deducing not to play music nor sing due to her lost connection to music. When she listen to some music in her mom's studio, however, three ghosts show up that died in 1995. Luke, Reggie, and Alex are the members of a old band called Sunset Avenue that died when they ate street dogs. They find themselves seen by Julie and stuck in the world. However, they can be heard through their music and seen by Julie singing! With Julie and her ghost friends, they all try to figure out the truth behind Julie and the band's connection and their growth together as musicians. Directed and executive by Kenny Ortega and staring some similar faces from the Descendants franchise (Booboo Stewart, Cheyenne Jackson, Jadah Marie), this show goes to a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) vibe with amazing performances.
