Quentin Tarantino's original, single-film version of "Kill Bill," titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair," is finally getting a nationwide theatrical release on December 5. This extended cut, which was previously only available on DVD overseas, removes the recaps and narration from the original two-volume release and includes a never-before-seen 7½-minute animated sequence. Tarantino expressed his excitement for fans to experience the film as he intended, particularly in 70mm or 35mm, emphasizing the impactful visuals on a big screen. The film, released 20 years ago, is considered a significant modern action movie and contributed to the resurgence of Asian action cinema in the West.
