Kill Streak

Happy New Year! Join us as we reveal our top 5 horror movies of the year, our top 5 horror movies released in previous years that we watched this year, and movies we're looking forward to in 2023.

In our second segment we discuss our (brief) thoughts on Phil Tippett's Mad God.

Finally in our 3rd segment we give letter grades to all of the series we've covered on the show, and reveal the next series we're tackling.

The Gremlins are back in this oddball sequel that sees our hapless heroes Billy and Kate facing off against an NYC skyscraper full of gremlins! Hulk Hogan is in this one!

Finally, we rank the Gremlins films and announce our special New Year's episode. Spoiler, we're doing a one-off about Mad God, which is streaming on Shudder.

This week we discuss the classic horror/comedy/family (and Christmas movie) Gremlins. You probably wont be shocked to know that Gremlins has been a big presence in both of our lives (we are men of a certain age, after all). How does it hold up to today's standards? Listen and find out!

In our 3rd segment we explore the deeply strange Gremlins novelization by George Gipe.

Finally, our end credits song this week is "Where Did the Gremlins Go?" by Nick Lutsko. Follow him on twitter @NickLutsko and download the song (and his other bangers) here: https://nicklutsko.bandcamp.com/album/songs-on-the-computer

Join us as we discuss the 5th and final (for now) installment of the Final Destination series! Plus, we had out our series superlatives and rank the films in our canonical order, and announce our next series!

This one is in 3D, or at least it was in 2009 when it was released. Good luck watching it in 3D now. Spoiler alert: this isn't the final one!

Make sure your safety bar is securely in place before the roller coaster starts! After a week off we are back, and we are talking about Final Destination 3.

Death's design is working in reverse!

So you thought you were a big shot and went and outsmarted Death's design? Well, guess what, dipstick? Your goose is cooked! Devon Sawa and his little friends are hunted by DEATH ITSELF in this Glen Morgan and James Wong helmed FINAL DESTINATION! If you wanted to know exactly what it looked like to be in high school in the year 2000, Mike and Eric confirm that this is accurate, minus all the death and dismemberment.

In our final segment we face off in a probably problematic game of plane movie trivia!

Some familiar faces pop up in CAT'S EYE aka the other Stephen King anthology movie. James Woods! Drew Barrymore! Robert Hayes! Our boy Lewis Teague takes the reins on 3 spooooooky (sort of) segments.

In the 3rd segment we talk about our favorite Stephen King short form literature!
