Sunday marks the beginning of Passion Week or Holy Week. This week brings with joy and excitement and ends with surprise and rejoicing. But in between two Sundays is a week of teaching, confrontation, betrayal, denial, agony and death. On Sunday, we will take the time to walk along with Jesus at various stops during the week leading to Crucifixion.

This Sunday we will continue looking at the spiritual blessings we have if we are "in Christ." If you recall, Paul lists 7 spiritual blessings which are realities for every person who has placed their faith in Christ. Last Sunday we look at at the first one, "God chose you." You won't want to miss the other six. See you Sunday!

Isn't it amazing that God would choose to bless us? This reality motivated Paul to praise God. In this section of his letter to the Ephesians, Paul lists several spiritual blessings that are ours as a result of us being "in Christ." In this message, we will spend time looking at what it means to be "in Christ," and then conclude by looking at the first blessing Paul lists; that is: God chose us!

What is the metal image which comes to mind when you her the word "saint?" Do you consider yourself a saint? Would you fit that category? The Apostle Paul labels certain people in Ephesus as "saints." You might be surprised to learn that "saint" is a good description of you. Join us this Sunday as we begin a study through the letter to the Ephesians.

Grief and loss are very closely connected. The loss which seems to impact us most is loss connected with family. The death of a family member. The break up of the family. Loss of health, finances, etc. These losses all affect the family in some manner. The question is, how do we deal with loss? The Scripture includes various narratives where individuals face loss of some kind and how they dealt with it. Join us as we tackle a sensitive, and potentially emotional subject.

It has been wrongly said that "Money is the root of all evil." Scripture does't say that. See 1 Timothy 6:10, to verify. Money can cause struggles and problems in marriage. Money can be a source of conflict. Debt gets heavy. The Scripture gives us basic principles to apply in our lives when it comes to the finances we are given. The primary truth we must understand about money and possessions comes from the answer to this question: "Who is the owner of everything?" That question will be answered Sunday.

Marriage...a foundational element to family. For those of us who are married, we want a happy, successful marriage. The Bible does not give us a step-by-step formula, but it does give us principles for the marriage relationship. Sunday, we will share a Word to Husbands, a Word to Wives and a Word to Husbands and Wives. In each segment, we will take a look at basic principles for marriage. WARNING: This message will be PG, at least. We plan on discussing what the Bible has to say about sexual intimacy between a husband and wife.

If we are honest with ourselves, I think most of us want a parenting formula. To know with certainty that if we do XYZ our kids will grow up to love Jesus. But that is not what we find in the Bible. Most of what we can glean about parenting is found in the book of Proverbs. A book dedicated to teaching the young and foolish the way of wisdom. We want a formula. Instead, God gives us wisdom. This Sunday we will look at two parenting principles from Proverbs that can guide us as we raise our kids.

When you think "family," what comes to mind? The family is an entity created by God Himself. It is also the object of Satan's attack, making every attempt to destroy it. With no argument, the family is under siege today, and is in trouble. How have we gotten to this point? Failure to build our lives, our families, on God's foundation. Join us as we begin a brand new family series called "A Focus On The Family." This Sunday, our attention will be on God's foundation for the family.

Have you ever been deceived? Doesn't feel great, does it? What was the cause of deception? You didn't know the truth. It's not a good thing to lose money because of deception, but what if eternal life was impacted because you believed a false teacher? John warns about false teachers. The admonition for us today is still the same: Watch Out!
