I tell people all the time to look up from your phones and just say hi to random strangers walking down the street. I tell people that it doesn't take a lot to change someone's day completely. And sometimes it might just be an apple and an Oreo cookie. Or in my case a Milky way.

Text also can cause a lot of problems. Instant gratification is something that annoys me most of the time. We can't always pick up our phone without maybe looking rude to respond to a text. So how do we figure out texting protocol with the people that you are hanging out with or maybe work with.

I have always believed that making sure to say thank you after someone has done something for you is very important! It's something that's very simple but yet has a big impact.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing so many people staring at their phone all day. So that carries over when I go to a restaurant and they walk out with one of those handhelds and stare at it the entire time. I know it's not their fault but the owner needs to train their people on correctly using one of those handheld and still providing customer service.

But it still does hold true that you really only have one life to live so I'm not sure why so many people try to live other people's lives or expect other people to take part of their life to help them.
