Connor and Dylan are joined by Ashley Parker Angel (Wicked, Hairspray) to continue our Wicked 20th Anniversary celebration. The boys have a blast, having previously connected after seeing Ashley in Hairspray. You know Ashley as the former frontman of O-Town, the boyband sensation, as well as for his hit single “Let U Go.” Well, this heartthrob is our Fiyero feature, and he generously recalls his time in the tight white pants in Wicked. Ashley discusesses the meta experience of playing Link Larkin in Hairspray, performing alongside Lance Bass as Corny Collins, and where the cast would party all night long. He takes us back to Reading, CA, where his star turn as Danny Zuko launched his career, and led him to fall backwards into “Making the Band.” Ashley raves about working with Max Martin on his album Soundtrack to Your Life, and how he just might make a return to the stage in & Juliet someday. This former Fiyero dishes on his excitement for the Wicked movie, why he turned down Dancing with the Stars, and his fitness business High Level. Oh, and of course we get into the possibility of an OnlyFans and why Buzzfeed crowned Ashley as “King of Thirst Traps.”
