Today I sit down with the founder of the Las Vegas yoga community Home Means Yoga, Jessica Ain. We met in yoga teacher training in 2015 in downtown Las Vegas. Jessica is a Las Vegas native passionate about bringing mindfulness to all people. She has been teaching within the school system for over a decade and is currently getting her PhD in special education. Her heart is as big as the ocean and our conversation is sure to inspire you. Today I sit down with everybody's favorite King Pollys Husband and we share about the importance of communication in all relationships and how to be in authentic communion with another. We delve into experiencing the ego as a wall in the way of effective communication, trauma and the past's hold over us, seeking peace, working through family separations, trusting life and King Pollys Husband shares a simple breathing exercise called "box breath"  that is good for calming down an anxious nervous system. Today I sit down with Elyse Petersen, the founder and CEO of Tealet; a grower network composed of family farms & independent cooperatives in 8 different countries and 15 different growing regions, all with a dedication to their craft and communities. Sourcing small harvests of quality teas from independent growers. We cover an eclectic array of subjects today, from the metaverse to the patriarchy, inflation and the redistribution of wealth, trolling and echo chambers, and all while sipping some beautiful tea. Today I sit down with the creators behind Desert Cactus Films, a Las Vegas based production company or as I call them: the great and magical visual storytellers of Vegas - Danny Chandia and Rachel Johnson. They share some real gems this Friday, like how in order to be filmmakers you have to like problem solving, and are examples of blooming where they were planted. I was inspired by their passion, love and ability to adapt to the ever changing world we find ourselves in.
