Mom guilt is so real! It's so easy to get consumed by all the should haves, should be, should do, shouldn't, shoulda coulda woulda.. haha! But, guilt is not from God. Shame is not from God. This is straight up from the enemy and he will use it any chance he can to get us caught up in this defeating and discouraging cycle. I had the honor of coaching this Catholic mama on all her thoughts about why she feels guilty about certain things in her motherhood journey. God gives us so much grace, opportunity and blessings that we need to lean into. Instead of feeling guilty being a mom, we can learn to see what God is doing in the middle of it and ask for his guidance. "I remain confident in this that I will see goodness" -Once you realize Jesus is who He says He is, suddenly your perspective and everything around you will begin to change.

 Satan has been defeated - It's time to believe what God is saying and knowing that He will turn your ashes for beauty.

 Instead of seeing the stains of life you remember all things work together for good. God still painting the picture. When you are heavy burdened come to Him and He will give you rest. I know how awful it feels to feel and think like you can't hear God. Like He isn't speaking or that maybe He just isn't speaking to you. Failure is not your enemy.

Your thoughts about what failure MEANS is.

Often times, we fail at something and we THINK that means that we are not good enough, we will never be able to succeed, we don't have what it takes, and we ARE failures.

When we THINK these types of thoughts, this leads to FEELINGS of defeat, hopelessness, discouragement, and confusion.

But failing at something in and of itself, does not mean that YOU are a failure or that you are not good enough. It simply is an opportunity to try again, tweak something, and actually prove to yourself how capable you actually are.

What is amazing is that once we recognize these thoughts and become aware of the rotten feelings it causes us, we are then able to CHANGE the thought and CREATE the feeling we long for.

So what feelings do you LONG to feel? Hope, excitement, joy, motivation?

If this is what you want to feel, you have the power to change your thoughts and think thoughts that serve you and create this for you.

Simply shifting your thought from "I am a failure" to "It is POSSIBLE for me to succeed" already brings forth feelings of hope and encouragement.

You will either take action or stop taking action from this place, which always leads you to the results in your life.

So I challenge you today to notice your thoughts, notice your feelings, and then notice what actions or inaction you take.

Shift your thought into one of possibility and see how easily it can transform your life. Once you begin to do this, You can start to shift everything in your life. You can then start creating a life of love, joy, confidence, and peace.

This is exactly what I help my clients with and coach them on. I give them my Spirit led, practical framework, that will take this from unattainable to possibility and from dream to reality.

God isn't asking you for perfection.

He's certainly not calling you to be the "perfect" Christian.

What if who you are right now is enough to make an impact, to be successful and to co-create a beautiful thriving life with HIM?

I'm not the "perfect" Christian. I'm far from it! I don't always say the right things, do the right things, or act in the right way.

Sometimes I'm a hot mess letting my emotions get the best of me. I don't have the perfect marriage. I don't always love motherhood and I don't always love who I'm being. I still get discouraged by the negative thoughts the enemy tries to defeat me with.

But what's so beautiful is that God is not requiring perfection from us in order for Him to do a beautiful thing IN us and THROUGH us.

He's wanting REAL and AUTHENTIC. He's wanting us to give Him all our baggage, the broken and shattered pieces. He's wanting us to give Him all the ugly.

I'm still a work in progress, being led by the Holy Spirit, being taught as His student. I'm a Life Coach always being coached by Him.

He is guiding you along the way, teaching you, and catching you every time you fall. He is working out your mess so you can then use it as your message. He sees any progress as a victory!

Stop selling yourself short. Stop believing you need to be perfect. Start trusting that you are a beautiful work in progress and the greater the test, the greater the testimony.

There is beauty right there in the middle and there is breakthrough right around the corner.
