In recent years, his graduate students have benefitted significantly from his scholarly understandings of sexual identity and expression in the contexts of myth, history and the mediating power of social and psychological constructions. She serves as Special Events Director for the Great Lakes Leather Alliance and produces the Bluegrass Leather Pride Contest in March, which sends contestants to GLLA. She was Presenters Committee Chair for Leather Leadership Conference 2010 Great Lakes/Ontario, and founded the first MAsT chapter in Kentucky, MAsT: Derby City. She regularly works with Leather contests and contestants to prepare them.
