Main Idea:
God establishes the church by grace through Christ, uniting and saving dead sinners without relying on human merit. Since only God can accomplish this, believers are freed from pride and are called to walk in the good works He has prepared.

See our salvation as the incredibly gracious gift that it is, and receive it accordingly.

We often experience spiritual drought not because we lack blessings, but because we lack the eyes to see them. Paul prays that the church would have the eyes of their heart opened to see the blessings afforded in Christ.

Main Idea
The Old Covenant’s painstaking Day of Atonement demonstrated the cost required for a holy God to dwell with a sinful people. Thankfully, Christ fulfills and surpasses every element of this sacrificial system.

Challenge
Approach God’s presence with bold confidence in prayer, relying fully on the completed, once-for-all atoning work of Jesus Christ.
