Hoosier the Bison turns one and Kirkwood and Dunn is celebrating with a college football mascot draft. Trent and Tim are joined by Abbey Armstrong — the former Hoosier the Bison — and Wesley Jones, a former IU athletics administrator whose mascot obsession is the entire reason he got on the show.
Five rounds, four drafters, zero consensus. Expect an edible mascot, a live animal that lives better than all of us, a deep cut that nobody saw coming, and at least one pick that had the whole panel in an uproar. Go vote for the best board on our social media pages.

Trent opens with a question national media isn't asking: was Indiana's national championship actually a year ahead of Cignetti's plan? The quarterback timeline, offensive line development, and defensive stars all point to 2026 as the original target year — which means they won it all in 2025 ahead of schedule, reframing the "they lost so much" narrative and explaining why Vegas has Indiana third in the country in odds to go undefeated, behind only Notre Dame and Texas Tech.
Then Nick Saban hits the media circuit and says something dumb, Trent and Tim preview Big Ten Media Days (Bert Bielema for most likely to start a First Take segment, Bryce Underwood for most likely to say something he shouldn't), and they break down Indiana's receiver room — Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh headline it, Trent makes a dark horse case for Miles Kendrick, and the race for the third spot between Shazz Preston, Tyler Morris, LeBron Bond, and Davian Chandler is wide open. Then the tight end room: six guys, zero proven contributors, and one very jacked fall camp photo.

Greg Sankey walked up to the SEC Media Days podium and declared the SEC the best conference in college football — despite three straight years of Big Ten national champions. Trent and Tim break down every notable moment from the week: Eli Drinkwitz blaming the Big Ten's dominance on scheduling (while Missouri played Central Arkansas and UMass last year), the SEC's nine-game schedule controversy, Will Stein at Kentucky getting compared to Cignetti (Tim strongly disagrees), JD Pickell casually predicting USC wins at Memorial Stadium, and Kris Drew airing out Tim's Josh Hoover clip on Dead Air Sports.
Then it's the hardest weekly ranking they've ever done — the top 10 Indiana players they're most excited to watch in 2026. Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh top the list, Ro Hardy and Bones Jones anchor the defense, and Tim makes one pick that Trent immediately dismisses with a "meh."

Tim is back from his 40th in Chicago and Monshun Sales has committed — and the college football world noticed. The New York Post wrote about it, Alabama fans are in full meltdown mode, and Ohio State accounts are putting respect on Indiana's name for the first time. Trent and Tim react to the national media coverage, watch a scouting breakdown of Sales on film, and debate what it actually means for Indiana's recruiting trajectory long term.
Then it's a full fall camp preview: Cignetti's glowing Pat McAfee comments about Josh Hoover and what mistake-free football needs to look like before Ohio State, Pat Narduzzi's factually wrong ACC Media Day rant (Tim is not okay), the offensive line depth question, the receiver room logjam with Monshun Sales incoming, Stephen Daley's potential eligibility lawsuit, and the three biggest questions heading into fall camp — shutdown corner, middle linebacker, and the pass rush.

Monshun Sales commits to the Indiana Hoosiers — the first consensus five-star recruit in program history. Trent jumps on solo to react: the Pat McAfee announcement, Cignetti coming on immediately after in the best mood anyone's seen him, the salty Alabama and Texas fan reactions, and what Sales' arrival means for the receiver room. Tim's full reaction comes Sunday. 50 days until Indiana football is back.

Tim's in Chicago for his 40th, so Trent is flying solo — and there's plenty to cover. Monshun Sales is days away from announcing on Pat McAfee, Trent goes on record that he's coming to Indiana, and breaks down why Alabama is out and Texas is the only real competition left. Then it's Michigan's never-ending athletic department saga (24+ scandals, an $11 million investigation that wasn't even written down, and Warde Manuel somehow still employed), Brian Kelly making the media rounds trying to resurrect his coaching career, and national pundits still getting Indiana wrong — Brad Crawford's tier list, JD Pickell's playoff projections, and Brandon Walker saying the most reasonable things about Indiana that any national media member has said in two years.

ESPN dropped their FPI rankings with all 16 SEC teams in the top 20 and Indiana sliding to sixth — Trent and Tim break down why it's propaganda, why Vegas actually has Indiana's playoff odds higher than ESPN does, and why Alabama at #8 is the most absurd ranking on the board.
Then it's a full Monshun Sales commit watch with an announcement expected Friday on Pat McAfee. Trent's confidence is at 90-95% Indiana — the guys explain why Texas is the only real threat, what the Omar Cooper Jr. first round pick means for the recruitment, and why landing a kid nicknamed "Bama" would be the ultimate flex. Plus fan reactions, message board takes, pushback on last week's disappointments ranking, and Tim's bold birthday take: abolish instant replay in all sports, forever.

National media is already treating Indiana like a year one rebuild — Trent and Tim aren't having it. They break down why Tom Fornelli's hypothetical question at Big Ten media days gets the roster situation completely wrong, react to the best and worst clips from Big 12 media days (Julian Lewis admitting Colorado was "free balling it" on offense is a gift), and get into why Indiana is firmly in the top two for five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales and what landing him could mean long term.
Then, inspired by the US soccer team's World Cup exit, it's a ranking of the most gut-punch Indiana Hoosier moments in recent memory — basketball collapses, football heartbreaks, and at least one phantom targeting call that may have changed the entire trajectory of the program.

Happy 4th of July from Kirkwood and Dunn! Trent and Tim celebrate America's 250th birthday with a packed episode: they debate what brand Indiana should put on their jersey (Eli Lilly is the obvious answer, but the Bloomington local suggestions are better), preview the Group of Six and Big 12 — Texas Tech and BYU lead the pack, Kansas State is Trent's sleeper, and Colorado is the team to fade every week — and take a detour into whether US soccer fans should apply Big Ten conference loyalty rules to the World Cup.
Then it's the most patriotic weekly rankings in show history: the top 10 most badass moments in 250 years of America, blind picks, no notes compared. Buzz Aldrin punching a moon landing conspiracy theorist gets things started.
