Do you know who this fellow is? He was born in the U. S. but spent much of his professional life in England. That’s right! He’s violinist and bandleader Jack Harris. His birthday segment starts off this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records and we’ll also be celebrating Nathan Glantz’s birthday. In other segments, we’ll fall in the well, hear some songs about Kitties and try to answer the question, “What’s that got to do with the price of cotton?” There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.
