KJAN Sports Director Chris Parks’ weekly discussion with Atlantic Head Football Coach Joe Brummer. This week we talk about the tough Homecoming loss to ADM to start district play and look ahead to another tough road trip to face top-ranked Harlan.

Jim Field visits with Shari Peterson, an Iowa native who wrote a book about her experience on United Flight 811 in February of 1989.  A cargo door of the plane blew off leaving a large hole in the side of the plane while over the Pacific Ocean and, miraculously, the pilot was able to get the plane back to Hawaii.  Nine people died in that disaster.  Shari will present a program October 6th and 7th at the Corning Opera House and have copies of her book, "The View from 13F" available.
