Happy 50th Birthday Star Trek!

As the 50th Anniversary of one of the most influential franchises in the history of entertainment approaches we thought it would be a good idea to get together and pay tribute to it. Myself (Craig), Sandy, Alec Peters of Axanar fame and Nick Cook who brought us the fan series Intrepid spent a long evening talking about Star Trek and bringing our thoughts on the best and worst of the franchise to all you listeners.

Since the discussion went on for a long time it was decided that it would be better to split it into 3 parts. Part 1 can be found here and part 2 is here. This third and final part deals with Star Trek: Enterprise, the movies, characters and our hopes for the future.

A special thank you to 331ERock for his amazing cover of The Original Series' theme, Nstens1117 for his cover of the Star Trek Beyond music and Sam Dillard of Samostudios for his superb music.

The podcasts continue with a discussion of the divisive Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Myself (Craig), Aaron and Angus got together to discuss the recently released Ultimate Edition and mull over whether it's a better film than the theatrical version or not. Natalie drops in for a brief cameo towards the end as well.

Many thanks to 331ERock for the music that was used. Click on the link to find more from him.

Show Notes

A few things came out during the discussion that are worth noting and these have been detailed below:

• The YouTube Channel How it Should Have Ended and their thoughts on the film

Truly amazing

Since there has recently been some news about Star Trek: Discovery released by Bryan Fuller, Sandy and I (Craig) decided to get together for a Flashcast and talk a bit about it. The conversation veered off into other aspects of the Star Trek universe as usual but we had a broad discussion about everything we know so far and had fun doing it.

The only real show note to speak of is the image of the Captain's Chair that we discussed and you can find that below:

But who will sit in it?

Happy listening.

Suicide Squad is a film that was seen and reviewed by yours truly (Craig) but there was a lot more that had to be said about it so me and Kat teamed up to have a discussion about it and get the whole thing out of our system.

Kat is a first time contributor to Kneel Before Pod and has a life outside of this podcast so please do seek her out on her YouTube channel or drop her a line on Twitter where she will be more than happy to chat.
