Continuing our study of John the Baptist we consider how the message that was true in the days of Malachi the prophet and John the prophet is still true for us today. The 3 headings are--1- Return-2- Repent-3- Receive

All Christians are fully dependant on God for their salvation. We turn to verses 4 and 5 of Psalm 25 and consider 3 things relating to how our salvation is of God because He--1- Initiates-2- Enables-3- Accomplishes

Continuing the study on John the Baptist we consider 3 things in relation to the prophecies by both Malachi and John as God's Word spoke of--1- The Problem that existed-2- The Prospect of Jesus coming-3- The Pre-warning of prophecy to the people-We discover that God is a God of justice and mercy in that through His prophecies and Word God points out the problems of sin, points to the prospect of a coming redeemer and pre-warns us to get ready for the Redeemer.

Tonight we continue our series in Psalm 25 looking at verse 5- -For thou art God that dost to me salvation send--We consider 3 parts of our lives--1- Conception-2- Birth-3- Living-We discover that both the physical and spiritual aspects of these 3 areas of our lives are all of God.

We continue our study on John the Baptist and consider the questions Jesus asks those who went and heard John the Baptist, whether John was--1- A reed shaken in the wind--2- A man dressed in soft clothing- -3- A prophet--We discover that John the Baptist was not shaken but stood his ground- he was not concerned with outward appearance but rather what was in the heart- and he was a prophet passing on a message to us. Are you like John or not- and do you believe the message passed to you-

Tonight we continue in our series in Psalm 25 and consider 3 things--1- Ways of God-2- Salvation of God-3- Hope of God-We discover that the ways of God are much better than our own ways and that salvation is a gift rooted in God. This results in the hope which Christians have in their dependence on God as the author and finisher of our faith.
