Today we continue the series and look at one of the significant events that happened around the crucifixion- the temple curtain being torn in two. We discover what this symbolised and how the death and resurrection of Jesus restored access to God.

Today we continue the series and the accusations made by the religious and political leaders of the day, under 3 headings--1- He saved others-2- Let him save himself-3- If he is the Christ of God, His Chosen One-Whilst the leaders wanted Jesus to prove who he was by coming down from the cross, Jesus in fact proves who he really is by staying on the cross and dying to save sinners.

God gives us commands and rules to guide our lives, some of which are negative -don't- and some of which are positive -do-. This Old Testament passage reminds us of how important it is that believers obey God when His Word tells us not to do something because the consequences can be severe. It is also equally important to follow the positive instructions that God's Word tells us to do in life, as we discover it leads to blessing and rejoicing.
